Stay At • A Remote Island
We love to avoid the touristy cities and disappear into the many islands in Croatia for a more authentic experience. On islands like Silba, hotels don’t exist and your Airbnb hosts usually live in the same house.
Eat Like A Local • Fresh Seafood
The best Croatian dishes are those fresh from the sea! I order or cook with seafood at every chance I get. My favorite local dishes are black ink risotto, or the catch of the day. 
Hidden Treasure • Old Town
One of my favorite things about Croatia is that every city has an Old Town. I love to get lost in these historical cities. 
Sunset Drinks • Alavija
My favorite sunsets are spent at Alavija on the island of Silba - sipping an Aperol Spritz. I spent many summers here as a little girl. 
Best Tip • Days On The Water
Renting a boat is the best way to make the most of your time in Croatia. There are so many beaches and hidden caves to discover, with close islands that you can hop between in a single day. I recommend anchoring in a cove with your favourite book, before sailing into the sunset.
