A core fabric to the DISSH offering, linen is a lightweight and breathable luxurious fabric. As one of the strongest natural fibres, linen is very durable with longevity and timeless wearability. It also has sustainable properties, produced with minimal water, pesticides and fertilisers, from the stalk of the fast-growing flax plant. Softening over time, linen is naturally insulating and absorbent, perfect for warm weather wear.
We’ve also introduced 100% linen crinkle, a loosely woven fabrication that is breathable and lightweight, creating timeless staples for your summer wardrobe.
To care for your linen garment we recommend a cold hand wash or gentle machine wash separately. For your heavier linen garments, such as blazers, we suggest hand washing or dry cleaning only, to help maintain the high quality and extend the life of your linen. Dry your garment flat in the shade, and avoid tumble drying. Once completely dry, you can iron or steam your garment if needed, lightly spritzing with water to relax the fibres and make it easier to remove creases. Store your garment hung or folded.
