Thread Together
Since October 2021, DISSH has been a proud partner of Thread Together, an Australian non-profit organisation, driving social and environmental change that matters.
To date, DISSH has donated over $520,000 of brand new DISSH clothing and financial support, that has directly supported vulnerable communities across Australia and rescued clothes from potential landfill. Thread Together redistributes new clothing to communities in need across the country, delivering a tailored service to each person, whilst cementing itself as a sustainable solution for the textile waste problem in Australia. Some of the communities they support include: the homeless, youth at risk, Indigenous communities, survivors of domestic violence, refugees, long term unemployed, and those impacted by natural disasters. We’re proud to have contributed financially towards 20 of Thread Togethers’ modular wardrobes that have been built across women’s and children’s shelters across the country. Filled with a capsule of loungewear, sleepwear, and underwear, these ensure those at the shelters have access to the things they need.
These wardrobes represent a new beginning for women rebuilding their lives after enduring hardships. We’re dedicated to providing ongoing support to Thread Together’s cause in building these wardrobes across Queensland.

Pride Scholarship
In 2023, we established the DISSH Pride Grant, giving back to the community that has influenced so much of fashion. We’re a brand that celebrates diversity in all facets and respect the ongoing work and achievements of the queer community in making this industry what it is today. Our duty is to ensure the industry we know, work in, and love continues to diversify with the hands that bring new perspectives, new sources of inspiration, and new voices to creativity.
We invest in the future of fashion. Our Australian-wide initiative see's us contribute $15,000 to the tuition of one LGBTQIA+ creative student each year. Check back here next year when we open up applications for our 2026 scholarship.
Suited To Success
Suited To Success is a not-for-profit community organisation that helps people overcome the barriers to employment. Our contributions help assist women in Australia to become independent by empowering them with the practical tools, support, and confidence they need for job seeking.
To date, we have donated over $300,000 of stock that supported their styling services (and we don't plan to stop any time soon). By partnering with this not-for-profit community, we're helping women across Australia get their foot in the employment door. Every woman deserves a chair at the table.
