If silk is your jam, cupro will be too. Often referred to as vegan silk, and derived from recycled cotton fibres, cupro possesses the best of both worlds: durable with a silk-like feel, though there’s minimal stretch, so size up if you’re on the fence.
Care
Safest in the hands of professionals and not the overflowing weekly washing pile, cupro is best treated with dry cleaning or a cold hand wash with mild detergent. Remember that warm water is the enemy and will shrink and damage the shape and composition of this fabric. Avoid tumble drying while you're at it. Steam, or iron inside-out and hang away.
